Find Out What WorkMatters Has For You

Our desire is to enable all workers to live a 24/7 faith, to understand that our work does matter to God, and to use our skills in a way that pleases Him.

About 70% of Americans work full-time, and 50% of our waking hours are spent there. Doesn't it make sense to aggressively encourage and equip men and women to take their Sunday faith into the workplace on Monday?

At WorkMatters, we feel God is at work in the marketplace, so we are joining Him there! Our workplace ministry began in April 2002 at Central United Methodist Church in Fayetteville, Ark., as an outreach to workers to its own congregation. Within 18 months, the program called WorkMatters had attracted the interest, enthusiasm and involvement of people from across the region. In October 2003, Central released WorkMatters to become a non-denominational, incorporated 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization. At the same time, Board member David Roth answered a call to lead the new company, leaving his position as VP, Sales & Marketing from J.B. Hunt Transport Services.

WorkMatters is changing lives through the workplace. Our desire is to enable all workers to live a 24/7 faith, to understand that our work does matter to God, and to use our skills in a way that pleases Him.

In the days of the browser wars between Netscape and Microsoft, many hacks were propagated by the competing companies. However, today these hacks have done more to hurt the Web than to help the battling companies.
