Jesus: Love at Work

Relationships are a huge part of our effectiveness, success and satisfaction at work. But communication can be a challenge. It doesn’t have to be that way. Discover how love can turn difficult work relationships into cooperative, productive relationships and transform your experience of work. It starts with love. Not love, the emotion, but love, the action. Deliberate and intentional.

Jesus: Love at Work is based on the life and leadership of Jesus. You and your colleagues will learn ways to:
  • – Improve communication.
  • – Navigate tension that comes from increased demands and pressure.
  • – Seek and follow God’s lead.

Nehemiah: Calling at Work

We spend almost 50 percent of our adult lives working. Does work really have a purpose beyond being able to provide for myself and the family? What if you could discover God’s purpose for the work you’re doing today?

Nehemiah: Calling at Work shows us how God can use our abilities and our work to really make a difference. You and your colleagues will learn ways to:
  • – Discover God’s calling for your work.
  • – Overcome the inevitable obstacles.
  • – Seek and follow God’s lead to maximize your efforts for everyone’s benefit.

Daniel: Integrity at Work

The desire to succeed comes pressure – pressure to perform, to fit in with the culture. That often means there’s a “work-me” and a “faith-me.” Living two separate lives is stressful and makes it difficult to make the best decisions. But what if you could be the same person at home and at work?

Daniel: Integrity at Work uses the story of Daniel to demonstrate how we can be part of the culture without being defined by it. You and your colleagues will learn ways to:
  • – Raise the bar on your integrity.
  • – Respond to the pressure and demands of work with integrity.
  • – Seek and follow God’s lead, not just for yourself, but together.
  • – Discover renewed passion for your work.

Esther: Influence at Work

The majority of people don’t think they can impact positive change because of the overwhelming demands of their work. It’s easy to fall into the “who am I?” mentality and struggle just to get by. It doesn’t have to be that way. What if you could expand your positive influence at work?

Esther: Influence at Work helps you become aware of just how far your influence can go and discover ways to be intentional about your impact. You and your colleagues will learn ways to:
  • – Increase your positive influence on others.
  • – Expand your influence through your work.
  • – Seek and follow God’s lead, not just for yourself, but together.

People who have participated in Workmatters Studies range from young professionals who recently entered the workforce, to middle management, to corporate executives and everyone in between.

Who facilitates Workmatters Studies?

Ideally, each Workmatters Study has two facilitators – one experienced professional (35+) and one young professional (under 35). Although that is not a requirement. Anyone who feels called to facilitate can do so – you don’t have to have experience leading Bible studies. We provide resources and support to equip facilitators for success.

What do I need to do to be trained to facilitate a study?

We provide facilitator guides, tips and resource documents on our website that can be viewed online or downloaded and printed. If you need more, we are always happy to talk or meet (NWA) with you.

What curriculum is used?

Workmatters has a team of curriculum writers and designers who develop each study we produce. These writers also have many years of marketplace experience. They are also deeply knowledgeable and well-versed in Scripture and supplement their knowledge with research using Bible study tools and commentaries. This team brings their knowledge and experience together to produce studies that are highly relevant to today’s workplace environments. We’ve seen remarkable results from those who have gone through a study. This short video is just a sampling of what thousands of leaders have experienced. Imagine the impact these leaders will have in the marketplace!
