Primary Purpose

We are seeking an energetic, skilled .Net programmer that wants to make a difference. You will be designing, constructing and delivering business applications and system solutions in a fast-paced and fun environment. You'll work with a seasoned team of Business Systems Analysts and Business Application Developers using the latest Microsoft.Net platforms including VS.Net 2005 and 2008 in a SQL Server/iSeries AS/400 database that fully leverages SSIS, SSAS, SSRS reporting, and SharePoint.

Essential Responsibilities

1. Work Business Analysts to analyze and define requirements.
2. Develop, modify and test new or existing programs using SQL/DB2 and VS.Net (C# and VB).
3. Implement systems and train users.
4. Document the systems developed.
5. Troubleshoot systems.
6. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements

SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES FOR THIS POSITION ARE:
Able to be an effective team member.
Able to interact well with people to gather requirements and train on a system.
Able to translate those requirements into technical specifications.
Object-oriented in analysis and design.
Able to develop in Microsoft .Net using C# and VB. Experience with Java and Java Script a plus.
Able to effectively debug a problem in an unknown system.
Skilled in database (SQL syntax, creating stored procedures, data base design, etc.).
Skilled in SQL Server (Reporting Services, Integration Services, Database).
Familiar with Service Oriented Architectures concepts including WCF.
Familiar with CSLA.
Familiar with iSeries DB2 (AS/400).
Familiar with SharePoint.

The Senior Modular Development Manager will be responsible for leading a team of Modular Development Managers for an assigned department or departments. This team will work cross functionally with Buying, Planning, and Replenishment to develop the most effective store clusters, modulars, and product assortments. An individual in this role will have heavy interaction with Merchandising GMM's, DMM's, MM's, Buyers, Directors and Senior Managers within Planning and Replenishment. This position will report to the Modular Development Team Director. The person in this position will be expected to have advanced knowledge of the required tools and systems, and will build team capability through guidance and training. This individual will ensure alignment with merchandising objectives is carried out through team members. Individual will train and supervise Modular Development Managers I and II assigned to department. Will coordinate and monitor the Modular Relay Schedule for assigned departments. Identify and recruit talented associates for across Modular Development. Will foster an organization that values diversity of thought, style and experience. Responsible for identifying and developing top performing associates who can advance beyond their current position. This individual will also provide "back-up" to Modular Development Managers and be responsible for special projects that impact modulars within assigned departments.

Job Description:

Coordinates and conducts Modular Relay pre-planning meetings to ensure all cross functional team members understand the timeline, expectations, and roles/responsibilities. Owner of the Modular Relay Schedule. Monitors progress and communicates required corrective action to make certain all deadlines are met. Ensures project store strategies are integrated into timeline and process. Creates and assigns modular trails for footage and cluster design provided by Modular Development Manager. Directs Modular Specialists to assign stores to the correct traits. Responsible for ensuring all items have accurate images and measurements. Verifies modular's are built using the current fixture library and instructs Modular Core Team to draw new fixtures that are needed for modular completion.

Develops modular cut downs based on the modular layout template, assortment strategy and merchandising rules established by the Buyer, Planner and Modular Development Manager. Maintains modular layout design throughout cut down process. Recommends alternate solutions when design Integrity is compromised. Informs Modular Development Manager, Buyer, Planner and Replenishment Manager relative to inventory/markdown implications of assortment decisions during cut down process. Recommends item (new and existing) forecast changes to Replenishment team.

Conducts the modular cut down walk through and financial rollup review meeting with Buyer, Category Manager, and Planner. Develops and gains approval for the modular cover letter that provides strategy and execution instructions to operations.

Can clearly articulate the Modular process to other associates to train and drive efficiencies in the modular process. Possess strong leadership skills as the position is the lead in the Modular Planning area.

Directs Modular Specialists during check in process and ensures MBM reports are produced, errors are identified, and corrective action taken prior to finalization.
Facilitates store requests for cluster design trait changes. Communicates to Store Experience Team requests for footage trait changes. Captures and conducts COE's from modular creation and store execution process. Conducts meetings to determine root cause, and recommended improvement.
