Featured Speaker: Stephen Shearman, Senior Sourcing Specialist, Wal-Mart
Stephen Shearman has been in recruiting for over 20 years. He has served in various recruiting positions with Hughes Aircraft Company, Lockheed, U.S. Marine Corps Recruiting Command, Tyson Foods, and Walmart. Currently Shearman is a Senior Talent Sourcing Specialist with Walmart Corporate Recruiting Team in Bentonville. Stephen is co-founder and president of a regional recruiting association; the Northwest Arkansas Recruiting Staffing Professionals (NWARSP), board member with the Arkansas Association of Colleges and Employers (AACE) and current chairman of the Northwest (Arkansas) Technical Institute Business Department Advisory Committee. Stephen retired from the Marine Corps in 2007 after 31 years of service. Shearman is currently studying for his PhD in Organizational Management / Talent Acquisition. He resides in Fayetteville with his wife Jackie and their daughter.

In an effort to create a more organized World Wide Web, the W3C has created many new Web layout standards. The key focus of their effort is to provide the best possible interoperability between the different browsing programs available.
In the days of the browser wars between Netscape and Microsoft, many hacks were propagated by the competing companies. However, today these hacks have done more to hurt the Web than to help the battling companies.
